Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This notice applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through ShelfBase (app.shelfbase.de). Payments are processed by our billing partner Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as the Merchant of Record.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us Kimmel & Lingmann GbR Lambertstraße 36 36251 Bad Hersfeld Germany Email: contact@shelfbase.de by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. The simplest way is the withdrawal function inside ShelfBase: Billing → “Withdraw from contract”. We confirm receipt of your declaration there without delay by email, stating the date and time. You may use the model withdrawal form below, though it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you informed us of your withdrawal, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract (§ 357a para. 2 BGB).

Early Commencement of the Service

When taking out a paid subscription, you expressly confirm via a checkbox during checkout that we should begin providing the service before the withdrawal period ends, and that you are aware that your right of withdrawal expires once the contract has been fully performed and that you owe reasonable compensation until then. No paid order can be completed without this confirmation. Your consent is recorded together with its timestamp and the version of this notice shown to you. Your right of withdrawal expires early where we have fully performed the service and only began performing after you gave that confirmation (§ 356 para. 4 BGB). For an ongoing subscription this is regularly not the case before the end of the booked term.
